JMc Architects is working with a local K-8th grade independent school on project to construct modular classroom structures on their campus. After an initial feasibility study determined a critical need for additional and flexible rooms, JMC Architects explored options for renovations and new additions. The solution for modular units was developed to more quickly and economically realize construction and allow for the school to relocate the units in the future as their plans for the campus evolve. The project envisions four identical units organized around an elevated deck to create an academic village that includes outdoor program space.
