JMcA worked with local restauranters, and owners of the successful Matt & Tony’s All Day Kitchen + Bar across the street, to transform a vacant commercial space into a new neighborhood cafe named “Little Birdie”. It will feature chicken dishes, which it describes as “comfort food done better”. Due to the small footprint of the tenant space, the plan and kitchen were maximized to provide as much functionality and seating as possible without sacrificing aesthetics.  An open kitchen concept with L-shaped bar is featured and a bartender station was added to provide a cocktail program as well. New finishes, new lighting throughout, and attention to detail elevate the space from a former dive to a friendly and uplifting atmosphere with a farmhouse vibe.
